ADA bathroom remodel

Mount Prospect

Our client requested all new water supplies to be converted to copper and to fix all the drains while making an ADA bathroom. Acrylic shower pan was installed lower than the subfloor to make a three-quarter-inch lip. Easy-to-clean vinyl walls were installed and vinyl trim around the window in the shower, along with a high-quality 3/8 glass sliding shower door. Flooring is LVL due to durability and high water resiliency. Grab bars were installed to frame blocking. New toilet, new vanity, and new medicine cabinet were installed. The client did not previously have a ventilation fan, which we installed through the attic through the roof to lower the moisture content in the bathroom. We removed a soffit over the shower and installed a brand new handheld shower system.
